publicity
This committee creates, prints, and distributes all advertisements for the conference. They are also responsible for promoting the conference to other universities, various departments around campus, and managing ICP social media accounts and website.
peer review
This committee coordinates the peer review process by updating the official scoring grid, reviewing abstracts, and sending the results to presenters. They also create our informative proceedings book that is released each year during the conference.
logistics
This committee contacts all potential speakers for the entire conference and coordinates their stay and transportation. They also manage catering, room booking, and organize fun social events.
high school liaison
This committee engages in community outreach with local high school students by preparing a “mini-conference”. In this conference, high school students are given exposure to research in psychology. This committee organizes fun and exciting talks and interactive activities for the younger students.
finance
This committee is responsible for writing and submitting funding proposals and for soliciting internal and external sponsors. Each year, we have various sponsors that contribute to ICP such as spas, restaurants, and financial departments on campus. This committee is also responsible for managing the budget and overseeing registration.
