Hello! My name is Stephanie, and I am a third-year student in the clinical psychology program. My supervisor is Dr. Santor, and my research focuses on the acquisition of new healthy habits. I love movie nights and swing dancing when I have the time, and I am learning how to bake and decorate cakes!  This is my second term as co-chair for ICP and I am excited to see where this year takes us.

Hi everyone! My name is Kaitline, and I am in my third year of the Experimental Psychology program. My research focuses on how children understand and learn foreign languages. A fun fact about me is I have a 1-year-old yellow Labrador named Mollie.

Hi! My name is Maya, and I am in my first year of PhD experimental psychology program (PhD). My research focuses on the relationship between selective learning in preschool-aged children and informant accuracy. A fun fact about me is that I am a tandem and solo white-water canoeist! 

Charles Veilleux

Hi! I’m Charles Veilleux and I am in my first year of the PhD in experimental psychology program at the University of Ottawa. My supervisor is Nafissa Ismail and my research looks at how the exposure to different immune stressors during puberty could contribute to the development of Parkinson-like symptoms in adulthood in mice.

Hi! My name is Stefanie, and I am in the second year of my PhD in Experimental Psychology working in Dr. Vanessa Taler’s Lab. My research focuses on the EEG correlates of WM and selective attention during a cognitive task in older adults with and without SCD. A fun fact about me is that I love to train my dog Hunter.

Hello! My name is Emily, and I am a first-year Master’s student in social work. My research focuses on barriers experienced by people with intellectual disabilities and cognitive accessibility. Hey there! My name is Hanya, and I’m a second-year Clinical Psychology student at uOttawa. My research is supervised by Dr. Santor, and we are examining the rates, frequency, and impacts of violence and harassment against education sector workers in Canada. Fun fact, I have 5 adorable cats that are my whole world!

Hi! My name is Diya, and I’m a first year in the MA-PhD program in Experimental Psychology under the supervision of Dr. Erin Maloney. My research focuses on how parents and their children interact during math homework. A fun fact about me is that I named both my dogs after coffee: Moka and Java.

Hi, my name is Vivian. I am in my first year of MA-PhD in experimental psych. I’m working under Dr. Erin Maloney. We study math-related topics including math anxiety, math curriculum, and so on. I have a bunny. His name is Olly. I call him the Overlord.
